For Output’s digital synthesizer, Arcade, my multiple years of work focused on evolving the brand language and design system in tandem with creating a trove of immersive and considered in-app and external visual content. Having a thorough understanding of user-centered design and UX principles and a unique background in distilling complex narratives into demystified user experiences, I supported several teams in our journey toward making Arcade one of the industry’s leading instruments for musical creators. As a contributor to an interdisciplinary team of product designers, engineers, UX writers, and marketers, I developed stunning solutions for various complex design problems. I designed dozens of landing pages and comprehensive style guides and refactored web component libraries for optimized collaboration and product growth. Within the product environment and externally, through performance advertising and social media strategies, I designed magnetic marketing materials to garnish new subscribers and create brand loyalty for music production enthusiasts.
Email Design System
To keep up with Output’s growing lifecycle marketing needs, we decided to end designing custom emails within Photoshop and Figma. For the marketing team to remain agile and run a/b tests between promotional offers and creating valuable educational content, I made a long-term solution that not only worked for Ouput’s existing design system but also elevated it for the future of Ouput’s marketing and brand goals. I shipped an extensive email design system, style guides, and custom code to bridge the gap between design standards and agile email marketing. Using Brazes’ Drag-and-Drop email workspace, I built over a dozen drag-and-drop email templates with descriptive components leading to countless possibilities for creating high-volume, low-latency email flows without sacrificing brand quality standards.
Perpetual Software
Output’s perpetual software business encompasses a growing assembly of engines and expansion packs that are promoted on a monthly and bi-annual basis. For these campaigns, I designed and delivered targeted display ads, email flows, website assets, and dynamic social media content.
Hardware
Output’s hardware business is focused on creating high-quality, eco-friendly gear for studio production artists. While my efforts on the hardware business included branding and marketing promotion, I was also responsible for creating user guides and illustrating the products, parts and diagrams for print materials.
